A. Dishwasher safe govino products are comprised of Tritan from Eastman, a US made flexible, shatterproof, highly durable, BPA/BPS-free polymer.
Q. How do I care for my Dishwasher Safe govino products?
A. Our DISHWASHER SAFE line of products are durable enough to withstand both domestic and commercial dishwashers (TOP RACK ONLY.) To avoid deformation, be sure not to squeeze govino products between heavier glass items on the rack of your dishwasher. To avoid clouding and smudging, remove lip-gloss and sunscreen with a soft, non-abrasive sponge prior to placing in the dishwasher. We also recommend turning the extended heated drying cycle off. Buff dry with a lint-free cloth or paper towel instead.
Q. Why did my govino lose its shape in the dishwasher?
A. Since many events, stadiums, and festivals use our hand washable products, it’s likely you may have taken one home and popped it in the dishwasher. These products will be clearly marked with “HAND WASH ONLY” on the base.
